Who are Turtl?
Turtl is a purpose-driven brand dedicated to protecting both little feet and the planet. We create eco-conscious kids' footwear and swimwear using recycled post-consumer plastics and algae biomass, helping to reduce waste and keep our oceans clean. Our barefoot-friendly shoes are designed for comfort, durability, and style - ensuring happy feet while making a positive impact. What sizes do your shoes come in?
Our Play Shoes, Water Shoes, Toggle Water Shoes and Sports Sandals are designed with standard sizing and width. They fit tots from 12 months up to kids aged 6-7 years. Check our Size Guide for full details.
Are your Play Shoes waterproof?
Not fully waterproof, but they are splashproof. They have an eco-friendly splashproof coating, making them great for playful splashes! While they may not hold up in a heavy rain shower, they should keep little feet dry during light puddle play. They can be worn in fresh water and should be left to dry naturally afterwards.
How do I clean your shoes?
It’s easy - remove and insoles and pop them in the washing machine. Insoles are hand wash only. We recommend using a gentle, cold wash (30°C) with mild detergent and letting them air dry naturally. Avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, or tumble drying, as these can affect the materials and durability of the shoes. Regular washing will help keep them fresh and ready for your little one’s next adventure!
Are the insoles removable?
Yes. The insoles, made from BLOOM, are removable and perforated for breathability. We recommend taking them out after wear to allow them to dry, and removing them before placing the shoes in the washing machine.
How can I recycle my shoes?
Recycling options can vary by location, so it's best to check with your local recycling centre. To help, here’s a breakdown of the materials in our shoes:
- Socks: Made from Repreve® and truSpring
- Insoles: Made from BLOOM
- Outsoles: Made from Phthalate-free TPR rubber

How can I pay for my order?
We accept payments via Visa Credit or Debit, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Can I change or cancel my order?
It depends on where your order is in our system. We’ll always do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations. For the quickest response, please call us during our opening hours to request any updates to your order.
If our offices are closed, feel free to email us, and we’ll review your request first thing the next day.
How much is delivery?
Royal Mail UK standard delivery is FREE for Turtl Rewards members (sign up here) and £3.95 for non-members.
Royal Mail NEXT DAY delivery (UK Mainland) is £5.50 for all customers.
Please note: Next day delivery is not available for BT postcodes, Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man.
Unfortunately, we currently do not offer delivery outside of the UK.
My order hasn't arrived yet. What should I do?
First, check the tracking number we provided to see if there are any updates on your delivery. Please allow up to 3 working days for delivery, as sometimes it can take a little longer. If your order still hasn't arrived after this time, or if you need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us here. We’re happy to help!
Who will my order be sent with?
All our UK standard deliveries are sent via Royal Mail using their Tracked 48 service, ensuring your order can be monitored throughout its journey. For Next Day deliveries, we use Royal Mail Tracked 24, which provides quicker delivery with tracking updates. Both services offer reliable and secure delivery so you can keep an eye on your order every step of the way.
There is a problem with the order I've received. What should I do?

How do I return an item?
We’re sorry to hear you need to make a return. For full instructions on how to return your item, please visit our Returns page.
Returns are FREE for Turtl Rewards members. For non-members, a £3.50 handling fee will be applied.
